About Tutu School

Tutu School is a boutique ballet studio where young dancers ages 6 months through 8 years explore movement, music, and storytelling in a warm and nurturing environment. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and dedicated instructor to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our littlest dancers.

The Role

As a Ballet Instructor at Tutu School, you’ll bring joy and creativity to every class, delivering age-appropriate lessons that spark a love of dance. You’ll build meaningful relationships with both students and families while maintaining a welcoming, organized studio space.

Responsibilities

• Teach joyful, engaging ballet classes for students ranging from 6 months to 8 years old
• Create a warm, encouraging classroom where every child feels seen and celebrated
• Deliver lessons aligned with Tutu School’s established curriculum
• Provide personalized guidance and positive, constructive feedback to students
• Communicate with families regarding student progress, studio policies, and upcoming events
• Participate in studio performances and special events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children ages 8 and under (required)
• Ballet or dance training with a solid foundational understanding of technique
• Confident, engaging teaching style that connects with young learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents
• Patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely child-centered approach
• 1+ year of dance teaching experience (required)
• Willingness to commute to Bellevue, WA
• Eagerness to pursue professional development and growth (a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

• $22.00–$30.00+ per hour, based on experience
