Favorite Ballet Storytime Story
My favorite ballet story from our curriculum is Swan Lake. I love how it blends grace, imagination, and emotion—plus, the idea of transformation through movement is something even our youngest dancers can feel and understand.
Favorite Ballet Step
I love teaching pliés! They’re such a simple, grounding movement, but they open the door to musicality, flow, and expression for every dancer—whether it’s a tiny tutu student or a professional.
Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
I often choose butterflies! They invite light, floating movements and remind dancers that they can explore softness, color, and freedom in their dancing.
Favorite Thing About Teaching at Tutu School
Tutu School is such a magical place because it gives every child permission to imagine, to express, and to feel proud of their own creativity. The stories, music, and playfulness create a world where each dancer’s joy and individuality shine.
