Student Model Release

As the parent or legal guardian of the model named above, I grant Tutu School of Sacramento, (“TUTU SCHOOL”), its owners, legal representatives, other Tutu Schools under the same ownership group (which as of the date of this release include 11 locations), successors in interest and assignees, and all others acting with TUTU SCHOOL’s authority and permission (collectively, “Authorized Parties”) the following permissions, and make the following agreements: a) The irrevocable and exclusive right, to create, copy, use, re-use, edit, alter, publish, republish, license, assign, and distribute the photographs and/or video(s) with or without sound, in which Model may be included in whole or in part as a result of this photography/videography session by TUTU SCHOOL (collectively, the “Released Images”), whether accurate or modified in character or form, so long as Released Images are used to promote a children’s dance school. I grant the foregoing rights regarding the Released Images in any and all media and methods of transmission and/or distribution now or hereafter known, including but not limited to film, print, video, computer, Worldwide Web, Internet Website, Email, FTP, computer network, and digital reproduction and distribution, for illustration, art, education, promotion, advertising, sales, or another purpose of Authorized Parties. I acknowledge that TUTU SCHOOL is and shall be the author and creator of all Released Images under the copyright laws, and owns and shall own all Released Images. b) On behalf of Model, I also authorized TUTU SCHOOL and Authorized Parties to use any printed material or other materials or media they desire in connection with the Released Images. I transfer to TUTU SCHOOL and Authorized Parties all rights or claims for defamation, or violation of my rights of privacy or publicity, including without limitation rights under California Civil Code Section 3344 and similar laws in other states of the USA and countries around the world including the UK. c) I hereby relinquish to TUTU SCHOOL and Authorized Parties any right that I may have to examine or approve the completed product or products or any advertising copy, any printed matter, or any other materials or media that may be associated with or incorporate Released Images. I hereby affirm that I have read the above Student Model Release agreement, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents thereof. I am the parent or legal guardian of the Model named above, that I have the right to make this agreement on behalf of Model, and all other parents or legal guardians of Model have been consulted and have agreed to these terms prior to my execution of this Student Model Release. This is the whole agreement regarding these images and/or video, and supersedes any previous statements, agreements, or discussion. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assignees. I also agree to the use of my own image for the same purposes as articulated here, if I am captured in any Released Images.
