Founded in 2008, Tutu School is a whimsical collection of boutique ballet schools designed to foster creativity and joy while encouraging tiny dancers to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies. With over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Tutu School provides an imaginative curriculum that celebrates the magic of childhood and builds confidence through movement. We are Tutu Collective Inc., a proud multi-unit franchisee of Tutu School, operating 11 locations across California, New York, and Connecticut.

Job Summary

Tutu School is seeking joyful, dependable, and ballet-loving Camp Leaders to join our summer camp team! Our camps serve children ages 4–8 and blend ballet foundations with creativity, storytelling, and imaginative play. Camp Leaders guide dancers through ballet classes, themed activities, and crafts while creating a warm, nurturing, and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching ballet-based movements and leading age-appropriate activities
  • Creating a positive, engaging, and supportive experience for campers
  • Supervising children and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment
  • Working collaboratively with fellow instructors and staff
  • Maintaining the whimsical, high-quality experience Tutu School is known for

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching ballet (required)
  • Previous camp experience (a plus!)
  • CPR certification (required)
  • A genuine passion for teaching and interacting with children ages 4–8
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident working with young dancers
Commitment:
  • Must be able to commit to the full summer season
  • Dates: June 29 – August 21 | Plus additional training days (to be discussed further)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM
  • Long term hiring option also available based on candidate’s preference
Benefits: $22-$24 Per Hour Based on Experience

All Tutu School® locations are independently owned and operated by third-party franchisees. Franchisees, not Tutu School Franchises, LLC., are responsible for all hiring and personnel matters at their individual locations. 

Each Tutu School is individually owned and managed by local studio operators, with pay, benefits, and incentives differing by location.
