Job Title: Operations Manager – Children’s Dance Studio Company: Tutu School Halcyon, East Cobb & Brookhaven (On-site) Schedule:
  • Part-Time (up to 30 hours per week), with expected growth to full-time
  • Core availability required:
    • Wednesday to Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    • Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility requested for events, parties, teacher coverage, or business needs
  • This role is expected to grow into a full-time position within 6 months, following the successful launch of our East Cobb studio.
About Us: Tutu School operates two studio locations in the Atlanta area, with a third planned to open in August 2025. We specialize in creative ballet classes for children ages 6 months to 8 years. Our mission is to bring storybook magic, structure, and movement into children’s lives through dance. As we prepare to launch our newest location in East Cobb, we are seeking a highly organized, community-minded Part-Time Operations Manager to join our leadership team and support our growing studio family. Role Overview: The Part-Time Operations Manager will support daily operations across our studios, assist with staffing coordination, and lead community engagement efforts. You’ll collaborate with the Owner and Studio Coordinators to ensure a seamless studio experience for students and families while helping prepare for the launch of our East Cobb location. This role is anticipated to transition to full-time as our operational needs expand with the addition of our third studio. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage studio communications (emails, texts, phone calls)
  • Support trial class scheduling, student registration, and customer records
  • Maintain billing accounts and respond to inquiries from families
  • Coordinate teacher schedules and handle sub coverage as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and supporting studio staff
  • Help organize and lead studio events, parties, and seasonal performances
  • Monitor enrollment trends and assist with scheduling adjustments
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for families and team members
  • Teach one class shift weekly (training provided)
  • Step in for emergency teaching coverage as needed
  • Participate in required franchise and team training
  • Support community outreach and represent the studio at events
  • Assist with pre-launch efforts for the East Cobb location (community marketing, staffing, schedule setup)
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or program/studio management
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Weekend availability and consistent weekly schedule commitment
  • Background in child development or early childhood education strongly preferred
  • Experience with children or in a creative/dance setting is a plus
  • Comfortable with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Homebase
  • Self-starter, collaborative mindset, and strong attention to detail
  • Passion for supporting a growing local business and engaging with the community

Work Location: On-site at one or more of our metro Atlanta locations (Brookhaven, Alpharetta, or Marietta), based on rotating studio needs, subbing, or special events.
