Job Title: Weekend Coordinator + Ballet Teacher Founded in 2008, Tutu School is a quaint and whimsical collection of boutique ballet schools designed to foster creativity and joy while encouraging tiny dancers to fully exercise their imagination as well as bodies. With over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Tutu School provides an imaginative curriculum that celebrates the magic of childhood and builds confidence through movement.  We are Tutu Collective Inc., a proud multi-unit franchisee of Tutu School. We currently operate 11 Tutu School locations across California, New York and Connecticut. We are hiring for a Weekend Coordinator + Ballet Teacher that will assist with five locations in the Bay Area. This position will report directly to the Regional Director. Position OverviewThe Weekend Coordinator will manage weekend studio operations, provide exceptional customer service, coordinate staff, assist with community outreach events, support social media efforts, and serve as the primary substitute ballet teacher. This role is ideal for someone who can manage multiple projects, enjoys working with children and families, and is excited to represent the Tutu School brand. This position is in the studio and no remote options are available. The role must be comfortable traveling between all five Bay area locations. This role serves as the first emergency sub for all locations.  Requirements
  • Outgoing, extroverted, and positive energy.
  • Strong ability to work with children and their families.
  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with flexibility to shift priorities as needed.
  • Knowledge of ballet terminology and teaching techniques
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Availability to work Saturday and Sunday from 8AM to 5:30PM 
  • Ability to travel as needed between Belmont, Redwood City, Sunnyvale, Willow Glen and South San Jose 
Key ResponsibilitiesTeacher Training & Instruction:
  • Primary emergency sub coverage across five studio locations. Help coordinate additional sub coverage if they are already subbing at a different location. 
  • Offer support and guidance to weekend team members.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments of teachers and giving constructive feedback to help teachers. 
Client Operations:
  • Respond to phone calls, text messages and emails regarding classes, schedules, and events.
  • Leave detailed notes for weekday coordinators to ensure smooth follow-up.
  • Provide prompt, clear, and professional communication across Slack, email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Address inquiries, questions, and concerns from parents, students, and staff.
Studio Operations: 
  • Ensure studios are well maintained including checking inventory, cleaning the studio, and notifying management of any studio needs. 
  • Helping with merchandising for example, tagging/organizing retail. 
Marketing, Events & Promotions: 
  • Assist in preparing for upcoming events, promotions, parties, marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Capture and/or create engaging social media content highlighting classes, events, etc. 
  • Help with various tasks related to camp, Bravo Bash and birthday parties 
Training Provided:The Weekend Outreach Coordinator will be trained in:
  • Tutu School Ballet Teacher TrainingBirthday Party Leader Training
  • Text Request & Grasshopper (and other systems as they change or update)
  • Slack Communication
  • ClassBug
  • Studio Maintenance & Upkeep

Benefits:

  • $25 to $30 Per Hour
  • Part-Time, More Hours May be available pending other shift opportunities
