Favorite Ballet Storytime Story
My favorite ballet story is Swan Lake! Ever since I was little, I’ve loved how Odette and Prince Siegfried keep finding their way back to each other—even through spells and storms—which feels like a gentle promise that true love is, in its own way, inevitable.
Favorite Ballet Step
I love grands jetés! It feels like I’m flying through the air.
Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
My go-to animal would have to be a snake! Snakes coil and move their bodies in such abstract ways, replicating the flexibility and movement of the torso and whole body.
Favorite Thing About Teaching at Tutu School
Every time when I walk in, it feels like magic. The energy is so bright and vibrant, and I love getting to see the little dancers passions for dance grow each and every week.
