- What is your favorite Ballet Story from our curriculum?
- *The Nutcracker* has always been a childhood favorite of mine, and I still remember going to see it every year as a child during the holidays. The music is so magical!
- Do you have a go-to step that you love to teach or perform?
- I love teaching pas de cheval. In class, I like to have the students imagine that we’re scooping ice cream and putting it into a yummy cone. Sometimes we even add sprinkles by practicing our piqués!
- Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
- I think dancing like any of the ocean animals is extra fun, especially when we dance like a silly octopus or move side to side like a crab.
- What makes Tutu School special to you?
- What I adore most about Tutu School is the attention to detail that goes into everything. From the beautiful recital costumes to the thoughtfully structured classes, it feels like such an amazing and safe space for our tiny dancers. I love getting to spread the joy and magic of dance to each child who walks through our doors.
