Favorite Ballet Storytime Story
My favorite ballet story is the nutcracker! It was the first ballet story I heard as a young dancer and the first ballet performance I got to participate in so it will always hold a special place in my heart! I love the wide variety of dancers, themes, and costumes you get all in one story! A Christmas party, a snowy forest, and a land of sweets all rolled up into one feels like such a treat!
Favorite Ballet Step
My go to dance step is usually a balance or pas de bourre, it can be either allegro or adagio and there are so many fun variations!
Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
My go to animal inspiration is usually a butterfly. I love using soft arms and port de bras while doing powerful steps like a leap or a turn just like a graceful butterfly!
Favorite Thing About Teaching at Tutu School
Tutu school feels so special to me because it puts so much emphasis on magic and joy! Fluffy tutus, beautiful stories, and silly games and props make learning so much fun and give our little dancers a magical space to express themselves and explore the world of ballet and beyond!
