Tutu School Milpitas is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and kind individuals to join our team as Ballet Teachers (a.k.a. Magic Makers)!

We are a boutique ballet school dedicated to providing a sweet and imaginative introduction to dance for children aged 6 months to 8 years. We need someone with a strong ballet background who genuinely loves working with young children, thrives on creativity, and is committed to being an essential and reliable part of our studio family.

Core Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will:

• Lead Engaging Classes: Confidently teach 45-minute classes for children aged 6 months to 8 years, following the Tutu School’s carefully crafted curriculum.
• Be a Customer Service Star: Build strong, positive relationships with students and their families. Openly and professionally interact with parents to answer questions and ensure an excellent experience for all new and current customers.
• Ensure Studio Operations: Perform basic retail duties (product restocking, processing sales), take attendance, and help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, and retail area.
• Be Highly Reliable: Demonstrate excellent responsibility and dependability by consistently arriving on time for shifts and maintaining clear communication with the Studio Owner and team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ballet & Dance Expertise: A strong background in ballet and/or creative movement.
• Experience with Young Children: Prior experience working with or teaching children in the 6 month to 8-year-old range is required.
• Personality & Spirit: Energetic, warm, positive, and someone who knows how to have fun while nurturing the big dreams of little dancers.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for effective instruction and friendly, professional interaction with families.
• Reliability: Consistency and dependability are non-negotiable musts for our small class environment.
• Bonus Points: Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, as new customers are especially valuable to our growing studio! (This subtly uses your retail note without making it a requirement)
