We know how nerve-wracking it can be to sign your little one up for a new activity. Will they enjoy it? Will they make friends? Will they feel comfortable? We\u2019ve put together a few helpful tips to ease your mind and make that first day a little smoother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Will I have to be away from my child?
<\/em><\/strong>Not at all! Both our North Austin and South Austin locations have designated seating areas where parents and caregivers are welcome to quietly observe. You’re invited to stay in the classroom and watch the magic happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. What if my child is shy?<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em><\/strong>We believe in creating a warm, welcoming environment where every dancer can go at their own pace. Some of our shy friends prefer to watch before jumping in \u2014 and that\u2019s perfectly okay! We trust they\u2019ll join the fun when they\u2019re ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. What if my child has a hard time focusing?<\/em><\/strong>
<\/em><\/strong>New environments and new friends can be exciting \u2014 and sometimes a little distracting! Our teachers are trained in gentle, supportive techniques to help little ones stay engaged, including sweet reminders about our ballet manners and class structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope this helps ease any nerves. As always, we’re here to answer any questions you may have. We can\u2019t wait to twirl with your little one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
