Summer at Tutu School Raleigh feels a little different.
There are more opportunities to dance, more flexibility for busy family schedules, and a few extra surprises sprinkled throughout the studio.
While membership includes wonderful benefits all year long, June through August might just be our favorite season to be a member.
Here’s a peek at everything included—and why summer is such a magical time to twirl with us.
Summer-Only Magic
1. UNLIMITED CLASSES ALL SUMMER LONG
Usually, unlimited classes are offered during the first 30 days of membership so dancers can explore different teachers, class times, and studio locations. But during the summer, every member enjoys unlimited classes all season long.
In addition to your secured weekly class spot, dancers are welcome to attend extra classes throughout June, July, and August (space permitting), making summer the perfect time to build confidence, see favorite teachers, visit different studio locations around the Triangle (and even at our location at NC coast), and get even more ballet into your week.
For many dancers, summer is when we see the biggest leaps in confidence. Extra visits to the studio help children feel at home in the classroom, deepen friendships, and strengthen their connection to ballet.
2. THE SUMMER TWIRL TRACKER
With that extra twirling, earn your stamps this summer with a little (or a lot!) of fun and rewards!
Members receive a Summer Twirl Tracker that turns every class into an adventure. As dancers reach attendance milestones throughout the summer, they’ll unlock opportunities to choose treasures from our treasure chest filled with stickers, bracelets, wands, tiaras, pins, and other delightful surprises.
It’s a simple way to celebrate consistency, encourage confidence, and make every visit to the studio even more exciting.
3. JULY THEME WEEKS
July brings even more opportunities for imagination and creativity to bloom.
Each week features a special theme woven into class activities, story times, and studio fun. Dancers are often invited to dress up, participate in themed activities, and enjoy a few extra surprises that add variety to the class experience and make summer classes feel especially playful.
It’s one more reason our dancers look forward to coming back week after week.
Year Round Class Experiences
1. YOUR SECURED WEEKLY BALLET CLASS SPOT
Consistency is one of the greatest gifts we can give young children—especially during a season filled with vacations, camps, late bedtimes, and changing routines.
Membership reserves your child’s place in their favorite weekly class, allowing them to build confidence, friendships, and skills within a familiar routine and community.
2. EVERLASTING MAKEUP CLASSES
Life with little ones can be unpredictable—and summer schedules can be especially busy.
As an active member, makeup classes never expire. Miss a class because of vacation, illness, or scheduling conflicts? Simply schedule a makeup class whenever it’s convenient for your family. (Even if it’s months later!)
3. EVERLASTING MAKEUP CLASSES
One of our favorite membership perks is price protection.
As long as you remain continuously enrolled, your tuition rate stays locked in—even when rates increase for new enrollments. It’s our way of rewarding families who make Tutu School part of their child’s ongoing journey.
Membership rates for new enrollments increase each September. Summer is a wonderful time to secure your family’s rate for the coming year.
4. PRIORITY SPOTS in WAITLISTED CLASSES
Popular classes occasionally fill, but members receive priority consideration when openings become available and when transferring between classes.
Community and Performance Experiences
5. PRIORITY ACCESS TO SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, Tutu School Raleigh hosts magical events including character meet-and-greets, story times, parties, crafts, performances, and special community gatherings.
In the works this summer are our Father’s Day Dance Party, Character Meet & Greet, and End of Summer Soiree in August!
Members receive first access to registration and often enjoy reduced pricing on many events.
6. PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Members ages 18 months and up are welcomed and encouraged to participate in our beloved Bravo Bash recitals.
These joyful performances give dancers an opportunity to shine on stage while creating memories that last long after the final curtain call. Early bird registration for Winter Bravo Bash (with special perks like free tights!) opens in August!
7. CAROLINA BALLET TICKET DISCOUNT
Tutu School members receive a 20% discount on Carolina Ballet performances, including The Nutcracker and other beloved productions.
Watching professional ballet helps bring classroom learning to life and deepens a child’s appreciation for the art form.

Say hello to the BEST way to spend Summer days! Members receive 10% off Tutu Camp registrations, making school breaks and summer adventures even more magical. There are limited Summer 2026 Camp spots left in Raleigh, check the dates and themes here!

Summer Birthday? Or simply want to celebrate the season with friends at an enchanted tea party?! Members enjoy 10% off Tutu Party packages, perfect for birthdays and all sorts of special celebrations.
10. BIRTHDAY MONTH RETAIL DISCOUNT
Again, if your child has a summer birthday, celebrate with 25% off retail purchases to stock up on all our seasonal dancewear! New items roll out regularly.
11. $40 REFERRAL CREDIT
Share the magic with a friend and receive a $40 referral credit each time a referred family joins as a member. Ballet is even more fun with friends.
