Teacher Jayde
Favorite Ballet Storytime Story
Cinderella, Prokofiev is my favorite ballet composer and I find it courageous to be kind, no matter the circumstances.
Favorite Ballet Step
ort de bras is so fun to teach because it can be so many things: an icy blast of magic, confetti thrown into the air, or butterfly wings bursting from a cocoon!
Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
Frogs jump up so so high, crouch down so so low, and make the silliest ribbit-croaks, which is a great opportunity to coordinate our breathing with our dancing.
Favorite Thing About Teaching at Tutu School
Children learn through play, and Tutu is special because our curriculum balances the routine of a ballet class with imaginative play. Our stories are based in the classics and tradition, but have modern morals and sensibilities. Everyone is welcome to learn here.
