An unforgettable camp experience.
Imagine spending fun-filled camp days exploring the enchanted and enriching world of ballet! On any given day at Tutu Camp, a child might take a ballet class, decorate costumes, learn the story of a famous ballet, or even take part in a production of their own creation. Many of our camp sessions focus on a different ballet story from the classical repertoire, and favorites include: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Firebird, and Cinderella.
Campers do not need to have prior ballet experience to participate, but they should be prepared for a lot of leaping, twirling, and imaginative adventures!

Cinderella Day Camp Monday – AUGUST 4th 9am-1pm | Tutu School Shoreline Glass slippers, pumpkin coaches, and magical twirling. Need we say more? During our Cinderella week of Tutu Camp we’ll be crafting crowns and practicing our best ballroom spins! ITINERARY 9:00-9:15am ~ camper arrival & check-in 9:20-10:20am ~ ballet class 10:30-10:45am ~ morning snack 10:45-11:05am ~ introduce our Ballet Story 11:05am-11:30am ~ craft relating to that day’s Ballet Story 11:30am-12:00pm ~ creative movement games 12:10-12:40pm ~ lunch & outside time 12:40-1:00pm ~ cool down: coloring time & get ready to go home!

Swan Lake Day Camp Thursday – AUGUST 14th 9am-1pm | Tutu School Shoreline There is no more famous, nor more beautiful story in all of classical ballet, and your little prince or swan queen can spend a week with us diving into the enchantment that is Swan Lake – decorating masks for the court ball, listening to Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score, and exploring all of the incredible ways magical swan wings can help us take flight. ITINERARY 9:00-9:15am ~ camper arrival & check-in 9:20-10:20am ~ ballet class 10:30-10:45am ~ morning snack 10:45-11:05am ~ introduce our Ballet Story 11:05am-11:30am ~ craft relating to that day’s Ballet Story 11:30am-12:00pm ~ creative movement games 12:10-12:40pm ~ lunch & outside time 12:40-1:00pm ~ cool down: coloring time & get ready to go home!

Sleeping Beauty Day Camp Monday – AUGUST 18th 9am-1pm | Tutu School Shoreline Princess Aurora’s story is a forever favorite, but truth be told, we are also pretty big fans of the Lilac Fairy – the real hero of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet. During our Sleeping Beauty session of Tutu Camp we’ll be crafting jewel fairy wands and practicing the famous Rose Adagio! The Nutcracker Day Camp Thursday – AUGUST 28th 9am-1pm | Tutu School Shoreline We know, we know, a winter ballet in August… But let’s face it, it’s a classic, the famous score by Tchaikovsky is stunning, and the Sugar Plum Fairy is kind of a big deal. So let’s embrace twirling like a snowflake in the middle of summer, because dancing in the Land of Sweets is always a good idea – no matter the season. ITINERARY 9:00-9:15am ~ camper arrival & check-in 9:20-10:20am ~ ballet class 10:30-10:45am ~ morning snack 10:45-11:05am ~ introduce our Ballet Story 11:05am-11:30am ~ craft relating to that day’s Ballet Story 11:30am-12:00pm ~ creative movement games 12:10-12:40pm ~ lunch & outside time 12:40-1:00pm ~ cool down: coloring time & get ready to go home!

Camp is the perfect time to dive into a classic ballet, and to practice being soaring swans or fearless fairies twirling through a storybook adventure.

Tutu Campers create craft projects that might become props in performances or special momentos of their time at camp.
