Alora Brown
- What is your favorite Ballet Story from our curriculum?
- My favorite ballet story from our curriculum is Don Quixote! I love that Kitri (the main character) is strong, independent, and knows what she wants. I also love that the music and choreography are fun, upbeat and exciting!
- Do you have a go-to step that you love to teach or perform?
- My go to step to teach is definitely popcorn sautes! It’s a fun way to get our sillies out. To perform I love long balances, like Princess Aurora in the Rose Adagio.
- Do you have a go-to animal for inspiration during Animal Dances?
- My go to animal during Animal Dances is Penguins! Dancers waddling around is my favorite part of the day!
- What makes Tutu School special to you?
- Tutu School is so special to me because it is a space where dancers are free to explore dance, music, friendships, and so much more. Ballet is for everyone at Tutu School, and it is such a joy to watch dancers from so many different backgrounds come together to participate in the magic. My favorite part of teaching is connecting with the students and their families, and finding little ways to make their day a little extra special!
