More about what we do…

Tutu School is a quaint boutique ballet school, providing creative dance education for children ages 6 months to 8 years old. It’s a place where students can fully exercise their imaginations and their bodies, while caregivers are invited to join the journey. We focus on age-appropriate motor, social, and emotional development, while introducing the fundamentals of ballet through playful exposure to classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.

Who we’re looking for

At Tutu School we look for Magic Makers — hearts that never stopped twirling and minds that thrive on creativity.
We want teachers who are:
✅ Energetic, playful, and comfortable with babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups
✅ Reliable, organized, and committed to nurturing the big dreams of very little dancers
✅ Confident in creatively and dynamically engaging young children in a classroom setting
✅ Experienced in ballet (minimum 3 years) and in working with children ages 6 months–8 years (minimum 2 years)
✅ Familiar with classroom management and basic child development concepts
✅ Proficient in lesson planning – able to create fresh, engaging activity ideas each week within our set curriculum
✅ Strong communicators with both children and adults

Your role will include:

  • Teaching: planning and leading creative ballet classes
  • Lesson planning: using our curriculum as your guide to keep classes fresh and imaginative
  • Classroom management: creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment
  • Opening/closing the studio and managing attendance
  • Customer service: warmly connecting with our families and helping at the front desk
  • Participating in our twice-yearly recitals
  • Paid ongoing professional development and special training opportunities
  • Picking up extra hours through subbing and special events

Why you’ll love it here:

✨ Positive, supportive team culture
✨ Carefully crafted curriculum and training resources
✨ Opportunity to bring creativity to your teaching every day
✨ Meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of young dancers and their families
