Tutu School is a boutique ballet studio designed especially for the youngest dancers, where classical ballet meets storytelling, imagination, and play.
Our triangle of local studios is growing, and we’re looking for joyful, reliable Lead Teachers who specialize (or would like to specialize) in teaching young children. Many of our educators are dancers or performers who remember the impact a special teacher had on them, and would love to fill that roll for others in a positive, imaginative environment. With multiple locations locally and studios across the country, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a brand that values high-quality arts education, creativity, and professional growth.
Position Details
W2 | Part-time | Year-round
Multiple teaching shifts available – Typically 2 days a week, 3 hours each
Start date: ASAP

What You’ll Do
Plan & Lead engaging ballet classes for babies/toddlers/preschoolers/early primary
Teach original activities within our thoughtfully designed curriculum
Create a joyful, well-managed classroom environment
Build warm relationships with students and families
Support studio operations including opening/closing and retail checkout
Participate in recitals, events, and occasional subbing

Thrive on close relationships with families and young dancers
Love creating magical experiences through music, movement, and storytelling
Background We’re Excited About…
Strong ballet background (around 5+ years of training)
Experience teaching or working with young children (ideally 3+ years)
Musical Theater and/or Early Childhood Tracks
Comfort leading groups and managing a classroom
Interest in planning lessons within a curriculum framework
