Through dancing, they learn turn taking, listening, following directions and applying correction; all this without even realizing that they are learning these skills because they are having fun in a risk-free place that helps them explore their creativity and imagination. The skills that they learn in ballet class make the adapting to school classes easier since they are able to apply the tools they learned while twirling and leaping to a new place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While there will still be an adaptation period during back-to-school season, with the addition of school to your little one\u2019s schedule, maintaining the rest of their weekly activities will help with an easier transition.
