What to Expect at your Trial Class at Tutu School Willow Glen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before coming to your first class at Tutu School Willow Glen, here are a few things to know to help your dancer feel confident and ready to twirl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start by registering for your Free Trial Class<\/strong><\/a> for your ballet dancer. We offer classes for children ages 6 months to 8 years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Tutu Teachers ensure that your child will feel comfortable in ballet class (regardless if they have ballet experience or not). Here are a few things to know about our class structure, dress code, and how you can come ready to dance before twirling into your trial ballet class at our studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Arriving at the Studio <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Before your trial class, arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the class to help your dancer get settled. Your child\u2019s name will be personalized on our chalkboard at the front door to welcome you to class! Let your Tutu Teacher know you are ready to check in, and the teacher will let you know what to expect for the class and help you get acclimated to the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     A few minutes before class begins, your teacher will welcome all of the dancers onto the floor to pick out two scarves to dance with during the opening activities. Until then, feel free to explore the studio space, read a ballet-themed book in the lobby, or browse our ballet clothes and accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. What to Wear <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      <\/strong>We love to see tutus in class, however for your trial class, anything that your dancer is comfortable wearing is perfect! Leggings, t-shirts, comfortable dresses, and moveable shorts are ideal choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dancers can wear ballet shoes, bare feet, or socks with grips on them to prevent slipping and to keep dancers safe in class. If your dancer would like to wear ballet shoes, we have a \u201cTake a Slipper, Leave a Slipper\u201d bin, or there are shoes available to purchase in the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Class Levels<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Tutu School Willow Glen offers five class levels<\/strong><\/a>. The best way to know which class is best for you is to take a trial class and have your child assessed by our Tutu Teachers. The teacher will recommend the correct level for your dancer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
