An unforgettable camp experience.
Imagine spending fun-filled camp days exploring the enchanted and enriching world of ballet! On any given day at Tutu Camp, a child might take a ballet class, decorate costumes, learn the story of a famous ballet, or even take part in a production of their own creation. Many of our camp sessions focus on a different ballet story from the classical repertoire, and favorites include: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Firebird, and Cinderella.
Campers do not need to have prior ballet experience to participate, but they should be prepared for a lot of leaping, twirling, and imaginative adventures!
Upcoming camp schedule
Tutu Camp is Monday through Friday and designed for children ages 4–8 years old (campers must be 4 years old at the time of camp). Each day is filled with ballet classes, playful games and activities, creative crafts, enchanting storytime, and field trips to some of Dumbo’s favorite spots like the library, playground and the Dumbo Arch. Dancers will bring their own snacks and lunch daily. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration, with the remaining balance due on May 31st. Any cancellations after May 31st are non-refundable for the full camp amount. Early Bird Pricing: Now through March 15th, one week of camp is $550, or enjoy a multiple-week and/or sibling discount of $500 per week. Prices increase starting March 16th. Sleeping Beauty is a forever favorite. We especially love that the hero of the whole story is the Lilac Fairy, who shows that courage and love can make a big difference, and that sometimes bravery shows up in a purple tutu.
