We are beginning our Community Spotlight series by introducing you to someone that you may know already, but surely one of our favorites, Jordan Rodgers Photography.

An Interview with Jordan Rodgers
Tell us about your business
I’m the owner and photographer behind Jordan Rodgers Photography, and I’ve been doing photography for 17 years, with the last 8 years being full-time. My mom used to take photos every chance she could get (she still does) and I built a love for wanting to capture anything and everything for myself and then for others. I started taking photography classes my freshman year of college and the rest is history!
I specialize in families and children but also love photographing homes for listings and business/branding sessions. I do regular sessions, as well as fun themed minis throughout the year.
What makes your business unique?
I think what makes my business unique is that I truly care about each and every person I photograph. I make sure everyone is comfortable, cared for, and happy when they leave. I thrive through the chaos of a big family or the silly two-year-old that just doesn’t want to sit.
Favorite part of the Lubbock Community?
I love how the Lubbock Community truly supports each other! The local people and small businesses genuinely want to see other small businesses thrive. And… Lubbockites really are the friendliest people!
What are some of the Lubbock businesses you support?
I personally support and love Tutu School, Caffeination Station, Hobby Town, and Meet me in the Stacks! I am probably missing a lot but there are so many I would love to give a shoutout!
What are some ways you are giving back to your community?
I support several local businesses, as well as share business pages on my social media. I also do a lot for the real estate community and of course I am part of my kid’s public school’s PTA and volunteer as much as I can!
